Question: Why can I not access phpMyAdmin via my browser? (After installing phpMyAdmin)

  1. Check you directory permissions.
  2. Check /var/log/audit/audit.log for any denials.
  3. Make sure in “/etc/httpd/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf” you have commented out the following two line and appended “Allow from 127.0.0.1”

#Order Allow,Deny
#Deny from all
Allow from 127.0.0.1

and then restart httpd.

service httpd restart
